<iHack13> you cant recognize a B drive from the package. only when you open it. I think the SATA socket looks a little different on the back
and others saying you just have to buy one and hope for the best.
Your drive is listed as supported so yes, you have a right drive.hi guys,
like many of you i waited and waited for the c4evas answer and i think i can be really lucky if i got everything right!
I got a (ATAPI) iHAS624 B in imgburn.
Its black and i bought it like two months ago.
I got the latest official LiteOn FW on it.
So do I have the right drive? Does it matter that i updated to the latest version of the official LiteOn FW?
Or should I wait for ModTraders/MrModChip etc to sell them?IHAS124-19 is the u.k B version and confirmed by MrCrix and others on #c4e as the baseline version
<c4eva> Liteon iHAS124B = baseline model
I wouldn't do that if i were you.http://www.asus.com/Optical_Storage/Internal_DVD_Drive/DRW24B1ST/
This one can has a mediatek chipset and can be crossflashed with iHAS 124 . Gonna buy one of these and tested it when the FW comes out. I will report back.
