cache space clearing

this would be a real life saver Cache space clearing it would clear out your X, Y, and Z partitions as well as the E:Cache. This would sovle many probs for a lot of people. :D

no they dont

i could maybe see this as an option in x3cl, but honestly it would slow the boot time too much. its just as easy to do it in a file manager.

Iso-Systemupdate file

hey guys just finally got my jtag and everything been playing games but ran across a post about you should remove the systemupdate file before making a GOD? is this correct could only find the one thing saying it.

said it could accidently update the console, if this is correct how do i go about preventing it?

Just delete the systemupdate folder in your iso. But you can also remove the R6T3 resistor or bridge the two points on a U6T1 or U6T2

Please dont post unless you're going to further the thread...

On that note, removing r6t3 or bridging u6t1 or u6t2 (version dependent) prevents efuses from being 'burnt'. This will result in an error during the update (iirc), which you can then recover by restoring your nand from a backed-up image. So, it doesn't "prevent" but rather allows you to recover from an accidental update.
