The very first Gfinity tournament takes place in central London this Saturday and Sunday, with eSports teams flying in from around the world to take part in a Call of Duty BO2 championship, which offers a top prize of $30,000 (that's just under £20,000 - not bad for two days work). The venue for the event is being kept under wraps till Saturday, when it all kicks off. Justine Ezarik (iJustine), Matthijs Hoving (A_Spec), Martin Wyatt (MJ Dubbs), and Chris ('MLG') Puckett are down to host, and there'll be a range of always-crucial CODcasters on hand to make sense of the action as it happens.

The ten competing teams, which include Call of Duty Champions Impact (now under new management), Optic Gaming, EnvyUs and Propecy, will go head to head over two days, with final knockouts on Sunday. Unfortunately, there are no spectator tickets available, but eSports fans can access any one of the four Twitch TV streaming channels Gfinity will be offering.
After seeing some of these teams play first hand at the COD Championships in April, I reckon any COD fans should definitely make the time to tune in. Here's hoping there's no swearing this time though, eh?
