tha 4gb for 4gb consoles aka v2/v4/v6 if you have Phat,Trinity,or Corona v1/v3/v5 you have to buy Nand-X/JR Programmer

No, it will not work.

You need a NAND-X or JRP to do that.

Wtf? You really need to apply common sense here, do more reading and dont ask questions that dont make any sense. If we were to use 4gb r/w kit with phat or trinity mobo then whats the point of JR Programmer? Or even Nand X?

Yes there are 4GB trinity consoles, but these are still 16MB nand chips, and the 4GB space is an addon chip that can be removed. Just figured it should be mentioned before the next person comes through asking if it is required for a 4GB model trinity.

Thats 4gb on board memory for content storage. Some are removable and some are not. Its has nothing to do with the how the nand should be read.
