Can flashing the Bios cause FRAG?

OK I did something pretty dumb. I have a XBOX 1.6 and I just installed the X3 chip.

Flash Bios came on the screen and I selected to flash from http.
I fired up a browser on my Linux box and went to http://192.168.0.7
I selected the bios file x3_1959.bin and submited the form.

I saw on my TV screen the yellow progress bar...then the green progress bar.
Then the XBOX shut off.
I turn the XBOX back on......FRAG.

Things I think I did wrong.
I flashed with bank off off off off off
After more thoroughly reading the noob guid. I think that I should have flashed with the bank
on on off off off

I flashed bios x3_1959.bin and not x3_1959_v16plus.bin.

So is it possible that me messing up the flash is causing the FRAG? Is there a way I can boot from the backup bios and reflash?

I assume this is not a soldering/connection problem as the chip came up correctly the first time and allowed me to flash the bios.

OK I found out that by pressing both the power and eject buttons that should boot me into the backup. I think I tried this earlier and absolutely nothing happened. No power, no FRAG, nothing. But I will try again when I get home.

you flashed to messed up bios banks - just switch to the other 8 256k banks if your backup doesnt work and then do it again properly as you are instaructed

need help with liteon flashing 1.6 to 1.61

I was following guides and youtube videos and I have my original dummy bin in source and I have the ix 1.61 spoofed to source I can see drive and my drive mfg may 2009 and is a 83850C. I did the liteon erase and turned off my ck3 and back on and drive says in vendor mode but there only 0x0 in vendor id and in device id and name is unknown tyrpe and saize is n/a but type says staus 0xF2 and when i click write it aborts what am I missing here? How to fix asap please.

since you've all ready did the liteon erase, just hit the device/intro button.

once you've erased you don't have to do it again.

mightywiz thanks for the help got it flashed now just need to put the xbox back together and test.
