HITACHI 79 Can i change dvd-rom with other lg?

I have a simple question...
I have an hitachi 79 that have an globe 360 modchip installed. I remove all the wires but i show that there is a cutted track...
I try to recover it but is not so simple (is a vary bad cut).

I read the key but when i write jungleflsher give me an error.
If i fail to reconstruct the track can i change this with other lg (47-59-78) or i need another 79? (i don't find another on internet..)

As far as I know you're going to want to have the same dvd drive. I don't know much about the modchip you have in there but from what seen you want your dvd drive to match what you originally had.

Yep, you'll need a v79 drive board to swap it out with.
