Can I connect to live though networked PC?

Just as the title says? I have the X3 in it and I'm running evoX. I do have a USB ADSL modem so can I connect to Live! through the computer?

yea thats the set up i use. heres how to do it.

1) Set your computer up for internet connection sharing(ICS)
to do this you
a) Right click your broadband connect (for me its tiscali broadband)
b) properties > Advanced TAB
c) and tick "allow network computers to connect using this computers internet connetion"
2) Now attach a CROSS-OVER cable to you network card and and then to the Xbox
3) connect to the broadband service.
4) turn your xbox on and select the xbox live option on the menu
5) let your xbox detect your network settings
NOTE: If you cant connect go to advanced settings on the xbox live settings and enter the network name of your computer, it helped the first time i connected to LIVE.

it won't let me cause it says limited or no connection. I am using a modified Crossover cable that i did from a straight cable

well it might be good to invest in a new cross-over cable i have heard certain cross-over cables (including a few modded ones) which give symptims that you are saying about. i recomend a belkin cross-over cable i using a 15 m one to link xbox to pc in 2 different rooms.

well basically if your trying to just transfer files to and from the xbox ... just get a crossovercable like he said above basically.... but if u want to access internet from the xbox to download skins etc etc ... easiest trouble free thing is to get a "Router".
