Hello

I have a problem with my xbox 360, it is keeping open tray even when I closed it gets back to open same as this video

I connected the dvd drive to another xbox 360 and work's fine. so the problem from xbox 360 motherboard.
I updated my xbox 360 dashbord and still the same problem

so what is the soluation ???please help

it is Lite on 74850 flashed with LT+2.0

can I do RGH with this problem ???? and load the games from HDD without DVD Drive???

please help me.

If you want you can RGH an xbox without an drive in it at all.
Jtagging infact eliminates the need of a drive.

could be two things....
1)faulty cables between drive and mobo
2)faulty eject switch on mobo.

try replacement cables - if that doesn't help, and you are competent at soldering, you could try replacing the eject switch on the mobo

failing that, you could indeed RGH it and play games direct from HDD elimintaing the need for a drive at all......but please do a lot of reading before attempting an RGH yourself :D

i RGH a xbox that had the same problem and it fixed it.

I did as you mentioned , nothing happened still have the same problem, I will try RGH

and also it's Jasper Mobo and internal memmory has gone also.

as diabloliq said, read ALOT, dont be like me and hundreds of others who jumped in too quick. i have ALL tx products but i will suggest skipping the qsb and do a direct solder. i think its easier especially when dealing with the hana point. good luck to you sir.
