Ok so if i install nand-x and the jtag hack on my motherboard, can i desolder it off my board and put it on another?

yes u can remove the programmer but u have to leave the smc side aka the switch side with the diode
Yes it is perfectly fine to do this. But if you are doing it this way, i would suggest doing the direct wire install rather than the pcb install, yes its a little harder, but those pcbs are a bugger to get off with all those solder points.

solder the wires directly to the board. i and xmods did the same thing stole the idea from him we clipped of ends of resisters and solderred it to the wires and heat shrinked them. thats what i use.
