Hello guys,

I've just installed my X3 following your advice. It rocks! Now I have the flashbios page displayed on screen, and it looks as if it can also unlock a drive, etc etc.

Before I flash the bios, I'd like to know if I can still access this page of flashbios after I have flashed it with X3_1959? (is there like a jumper setting that I have to set in this case). For example, I'd like to use this flashbios to unlock some drives that I will get. Will that be possible?

thanks a lot

You can boot to the backup BIOS which is FlashBIOS by holding the power/eject buttons at the same time, or boot to any other bank ... but you probably won't need to go back into FlashBIOS. The X3 Config Live contains a section to lock/unlock your drive...as well as flash a new BIOS

Dg-16d2s Help

Hello I'm new to all of this flashing 360s stuff and have a few questions about my ability to flash the drive.
I have a Dg-16d2s lite-on drive, and in my device manager it says i have nvidia SATA.

I have Windows 7 and thus it does not have the right version of netframe installed and i cant seem to use iprep. Ive been following the download-able pdf for flashing the drive and am still a little bit confused as to whether i can even flash the drive or not.

So my questions are.. is my SATA compatible, in the guide it says that lite-on works with nvidia SATA, but its a different model number in the guide.

Can I do this in windows 7?

Re: Dg-16d2s Help

Allright.. after much research I believe this to be true, that unless i make a kit, or purchase a conectivety kit i will not be flashing the particular model Drive that i have.

Re: Dg-16d2s Help

What FW rev is on the drive? All drives can be dumped using the MRA hack, with a 7 you can use a probe to get the key, 8v1 you only need a SATA cable to get your key, with 8v2 and 9 FW you need to use the MRA hack
