I just bought an xbox from a friend of mine, so I'm very new to the xbox area. I've already read this thread:

http://www.team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53528

To see if my xbox can be JTagged, but I'm still rather confused. I think I'm using a jasper because of the 2 slides at the top, but I also have 2 at the middle. Just the image below the PSU socket rather confuses me.

I am using version 7173 according to the xbox, but my MFR date is 2009-09-25. (white xbox). I'm having doubts if I can JTAG my xbox or not..

Like I said, I'm very new to the xbox area.. please go easy on me :).

Since it's made on 25-9-2009, guess I can forget about JTagging it.. It's quite a shame. JTAG is the only way to play backup games on a external HDD.

well you can always install them on the hard drive, though you will have to put the disc in the drive.

That's true, but I prefer to play everything on my external as the HDD within the xbox ain't that large in size. Now the only thing I can do is to flash my xbox so I can play back-up games. Just a shame I have a 3 months older xbox. I do love the fact that the xbox looks awesome with the HD cable.
