hay guys is it possible to open my xbox and lock the HDD? if it is how do i do it and what will i need?

What do you mean? Is your xbox modified? If yes, you can use flashbios to lock/unlock your HDD...if you have a x3 chip installed on your xbox you can use X3 CL to lock/unlock your HDD, and you don't need to open your xbox to lock or unlock the HDD.
do what he said above... but on a side note if u really wanted to lock your hard drive by opening your xbox u could always use XBoxHDM program to do it ... u will still need your xbox's EEPROM file in order to lock it in XBoxHDM (XBox Hard Drive Manager) ... but just what he said above as theres basically no reason to do what i suggested... only thing u really need XBoxHDM for is if u want to softmod your xbox basically.
well i had a X2 and i messed up in flashing the bios and i had my HDD locked so i cant even play with my box so...
I think what you need is to re-flash the chip with the correct bios...there's no problem if your HDD is locked because by default it's really locked to your xbox. Your main concern now is to make your modchip work, if neither banks with the flashbios are not working then you need a programmer or a hotswap to make it work. But first, you should state here if what happened with your install, were you able to access the flashbios before messing up with flashing the bios? YOu need to provide more info...
i flashed with networking and i think i used the right bios i have like a million on my comp. and every thing seem to be going ok. i went to cheek on my xbox and it appeard off so i pushed the power button and nothing happend so i pushed it again and it turned on adn off 2 times i think and than the screen went blank. (how can i get a programer? how much will it cost?) so yea...
