Can i mod my xbox

I brought an xbox 2 months ago and im not sure wat version it is,i take it its one of the latest versions because of the packaging but not sure.can i mod it still ,with a solderless chip or sumthink

any xbox is able to have a chip fitted. The minute you open it up you should be able to 100% identify the version. Remember though if you open it up, Microsoft Warranty on the box is immediately void.

Exactly as digthebox says...you will need to open the box to verify what version motherboard you have.
It will indeed void the warrenty but if your gonna chip it then you have to open it and void the warrenty anyway.

If i am new to modding which chip would you reccomend me to insatll ,i want a solderless one that is really easy to install.

well your in an xecuter forum...i have to recommend the x3 chip and the xapter solderless adapter (which adapter you get depends on your version mobo).
