Can I play PAL games on my NTSC (US) Xbox?

If a person was to download a PAL Xbox game, would it work on an Xbox in the US? Or should a person just wait for the NTSC version?


For example, would Constantine_PAL_XBOXDVD-SPARE work on an NTSC Xbox and NTSC TV?

I have the Xecuter 3 chip and a 1.0 Xbox (US)

Yes, Yes I would. I plan on visiting Europe soon and purchasing some titles there. I was just using that particular Xbox title as an example
