LITEON DG-16D4S - SLIM Can i put a phat liteon drive to slim console?

Hi.
I have one slim xbox360 console with 0225c liteon drive.

I get the original firmware with x360usb pro of my friend and i just want to know if i flash one phat liteon 74850c or samsung or benq drive with the key of the slim liteon 0225c and with ixtreme lt+ 3.0 for liteon 02510c it work on the slim console or not?

Don't bother how i fit it to the slim console i just want to know if the phat liteon 02510c drive work on the slim console even if i spoof the firmware with anything else.
This console is for ofline gaming.

u dont have to rgh it just flash with same dvd key and off u go also dont use it online or ur askin for trouble

make sure you keep the orig drive for dash updates. Need the orig drive flashed to stock to take a dash now.

i wouldnt recommend it but hey it's your console.

use the sammy firmware.

if a liteon then you use a phat liteon firmware.

if benq then benq firmware.

:crazy: if it works i not sure but good luck.

but whats up with your orig drive may i ask.

if you got your dummy from it then just buy a slim drive.

then flash the drive using your dummy.

sammy def wont work,as the box will hand the ap2.5 challenges to dvd drive and sammy cant do them,im not 100% you can do this period but if it will work you at least need an ap2.5 enabled drive. ex liteon or benq and the other later hitachis.

Not a good idea without and rgh. But technically you can flash the current lt+ firmware to the drive and do a manual spoof with the new dvd key. So you would just flash the drive using lt+ for the actual drive and then do a manual spoof to the slim drive. XGD3 disk should work depending on your dash. But with this setup playing online could be a big problem.

I have the latest dashboard 14699 with the liteon 0225 and i want to put one phat samsung ms28 to that slim liteon drive.
So if i simply flash this ms28 with the key of slim console it can run xgd2 games and xgd3 or only the xgd2 games?
As i say this console doesn't go into xbox live so...

And i don't want to flash the slim liteon factory drive or any other slim liteon drive because every time i must unlock it with the hole into the main chipset of the slim liteon drive to flash it so...

just buy a unlocked pcb or a mxic pcb and fit a sputnik switch. and you good to go.

a samsung may run xgd2 games fine spoofed into it,but all xgd3 are ap2.5 enabled. and since sammy dont do ap2.5 the box would just red ring when putting in ANY AP2.5 title,its not the disc format that matters here.

bs,there is tons of unlocked boards on ebay and the resellers,you must not have looked. digital merchants on ebay has them and is reputable,ive ordered from him.

are you in the usa? i have an unlocked mxic pcb with tx pcb probe add on. 45 bucks shipped. these are def not hard to find,resellers everywhere still have plenty.

And so can i put one samsunh ms28 phat with the slim liteon key xbox360 drive to any slim xbox360 console or not?

I want to can play all the games even the new xgd3 games that is writen without liteon ihas recorder sipmply with the old way overburn/truncate.

Can i do that or i must simply install any phat xbox360 liteon drive with the slim liteon key and write xgd3 games with liteon ihas with topology data to can play it?

ok just to repeat what others have said ....
if you put a samsung drive in it you WILL NOT be able to play any AP2.5 games, wgich includes ALL XGD3 games
samsungs cant detect ap2.5 and your console will be looking for it
an original Ap2.5 game will probably not even work in it
you might be able to get away with using a phat liteon or benq , but NOT a sammy
still not recommended though
