I think I have srewed up a friends X3. He bought a pre-modded box. Brought it over and I changed out HD to 200 gig then prepped it with an old evox disc I had. I did not flash it though. I then connected to network and flashed it via http. Everything went great! I booted to evox and also to X3 live. But then I had to go and try a disc to install avalaunch. It once again prepped the HD and copied everything over. Only problem is it never finished and after an hour of trying to copy sh*t, I just gave up and reinstalled evox via the same disc as before. This all worked fine except now I can not get back to my X3 screen and if I try any of the other banks it just FRAGs on me. I can not get back to original bios which is a problem for my friend as he wants to do xbox live. So is there anyway I can make the chip work like it came from the factory??? I think I have somehow flashed to the wrong spot on the chip. Also if I turn on power, the pro switch on the front has a red X, but if I press eject it is blue. If I turn power off and on real fast I get blue X and everythin runs fine. It is very touchy as to when it will be red, blue, or purple. Any ideas? I never had any of the buttons on when first flashed (probably another no-no). Please help, I have been reading but have found nothing yet....
