can I run game from harddrive using quick launch??

BIOS x3 1959
xbox 1.1

First:
I used ftp to copy game files from dvd(D) to pc, and I transfer copied files from pc to harddrive of xbox(E:\gamename).

second:
In live config, I point quick launch application path to where I put the copied files in xbox harddrive(E:\gamename\default.xbe).

Third:
I try cold reboot, boot to dash, or simple turn on/off xbox.
During boot process, I did hold both triggers on controllers and It did not boot the game from harddriver. It always show live config screen.

what did i do wrong or simple quick launch is not for the purpose??

you can run any xbe from quicklaunch - path must be no longer than 15 chars

I thought you needed to have a dashboard installed to do a quicklaunch or am i wrong? i though u held down the left trigger? I am being stupid here?

Yeah u hold down L-trigger for quicklaunch from X3 bios boot.
Dunno if it interfears with dashboard quicklaunches tho.

Jungleflasher help!

Let me introduce myself by warning you that im a noob at xbox360 flashing, i watched some youtube videos and studied on fourms on how to flash my BenQ Xbox 360 with Jungleflasher just yesterday.

I was flashing my xbox about 30 minutes ago thinking i was good until i SKIPPED a step. I went from "BenQ unlock" step straight to to "read" step, skipping "getting device ID" step. I did not notice i skipped this step so i wrote the iXtreme Lite Touch firmware.

When i found out i skipped a step, I tried to return my firmware to the ORIGINAL state so i can re-flash my xbox. And upon panic, i clicked 'lite on erase' (dunno if this is a problem) so whenever i re-try to flash my xbox, the BenQ driver has no name (vendor has no value, and Name also dosent have any value)and it wont let me write any information...including my backed-up original firmware

please help how to write my original firmware

im a noob so im sorry if you dont understand

open j/f, put the original firmware in the source slot in firmware32 it should ask if you want to auto load extreme click yes, then hook up the benq dont power it up, go to the mtk flash tab, press intro it will ask if you want to resend say yes.(how are you powering the drive?) if your using the xbox you need to take the power cable out from the back of the drive( not the console)the just put it straight back in you should then get it back into vendor mode, then just press write
