Can i solder on the back of points J2D2

Hi,

I am new to the forum but am a modder and thought i new my stuff.

But ........ i was wondering if i could solder on the back of the board as one of the traces is damaged but the xbox still works.

I Also have the Nand-X programmer and i am using the wire method

Please some one help

Which wire goes were ? there are 5 connections at J2D2 and only 4 are on the picture

Can you show me in a picture which one of the nand-x wires go Orange Brown Black Yellow Red for J1D2 All i need to know is where each wire goes on the alt points as im not sure. The xbox still boots and is perfectly fine except for a few burns from pre amateur soldering

are you on about j2d2 or j1d2? the 5 coloured wires are for j1d2 when dumping the nand, is that what youre on about?

I am talking about the nand points j1d2 like you said are there alt points ?? For the orange brown black yellow wires ??

xmods is the man for these alt points. ive never had to use them so cant be sure. i know theres a thread about it somewhere on here.

They are all alt points but were then will the wires go to plug into the nand-x ??

1 end plugs into the nand-x, and on the other end you cut the headers off and you will have 7 different coloured wires. you solder these to the points on the board. simple as.

I know that :S but which wires go were ?? for the ALT Ponits http://www.team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55120 All the wires look cut off could you do a picture for me and circle were each colour goes on the ALT points for J2D2

im not being funny mate but if you look at the nand-x installation pics it shows where the wires would go on a direct wire install. its simple to work it out from there. ill have a look for you though if you dont want to do it for yourself.

Basically i burnt one of the traces on J1D2 were the nand-x wires go (The yellow wire trace). I Then tried to solder back and the solder wont stick to J1d2 if you read the thread i said i needed ALT points for J1D2, I just dont know were each colour goes on the back of the board simple. If you could tell me or send a picture that would be great
