ANSWERED Can I swap a phat dg-16d2s with a slim dg-16d5s?

I just rgh'd my slim and I have an old liteon drive with lt 3.0. I know it wont fit in my slim but is it possible to cross flash the 2 drives? I have both keys. I haven't seen any topics on this particular situation and I would like to have a modded drive in my slim just for convenience and since it's rgh'd there's no need for my to buy the ltu-pcb.

You can put any drive in an RGH system, but you will need to build a new image and enable the "nofcrt" patch.

Once that is done, you can either flash the drive with the drive key found in the console's key vault (most convenient option) or you can modify the key vault to match the drive key on the drive.

You will probably need to cut the legs down on the drive so that it will fit the slim chassis.
