read the tutorial on how to install dvd2xbox, ive done it and its a great program. extract all the files and then do this.

How do I install dvd2xbox ?
Unzip the dvd2xboxXXX.rar package an transfer all files and directories to a folder on your xbox hdd. For example: f:\apps\dvd2xbox. Make sure that you get the compiled version with default.xbe. The archive is round about 1MB in size. You can't obtain it from here as it contains copyrighted code.
The dvd2xbox-XXX-src.zip archive is the source code of dvd2xbox (~ 10MB and no default.xbe file).

hope this works for ya! :)

as my post said, i have already installed dvd2xbox. I was wondering on how to copy an iso file of a game to my xbox without putting it on a disc. I didnt know if i could extract the iso image to my pc hd and then copy over files or can i just copy the iso?

you mean you have the iso's of the games on you pc? or you have the original disks for them?

It would be far easier if you used the original disk and just loaded straght from the DVD to the Xbox HDD - but I guess you knew that, and that the ISOs have come from other sources ;)

IF you have a network connection to your Xbox Quix is the easiest option - "Load ISO" then "Upload FTP" extracts the contents of the ISO (technically an XISO - Xbox ISO) and places it into a directory on your Xbox HDD (eg f:\games\"pirated software I downloaded off the internet").

and even better app is complex tools. if your xbox is networked to your pc you can extract your .iso to you box like you can with quix, but even better than that, since you are obviously dl'ing from the net and most dl's come in .rar format, you can even extract the the .rars to your box.

Blockbuster's $20/month game rental for unlimited games! (I think it's only $15 now for the first month, which is all you'll need).

They look at me funny when on my 3rd or 4th trip back to the store within a few hours :p
