Can I use DG16D4S instead of DG165S?

I have my dvd key and cpu key. I had a slim that broke with an unlocked pcb in it. I just wondering is there a way to use the DG16D4S in this slim instead of the stock dvd drive?

Yea I am currently trying to rgh it. I just can't freaking get it to boot my hacked image, but that is another issue which i had mad a thread about and have got alot of help with the issue so far.

Well you will need to make another image with the no fcrt enabled.
Just to clear things up a bit you have a slim that originally had 16d5s and you want to replace it with a 16d4s that has an unlocked pcb installed on it already?

Yea that is correct.

Ok just make sure the dvd keys match on console and 16d4s and your image has the patch mentioned in my previous post and you are good to go
