Hi everybody.

I obtained two old dash vesrion xbox, Zenon and Jasper by chance.

(A)Zenon Dash:6683, MFR Date: 2005.10.6
I cheked the First xbox with J-R programmer V2. I get Nand dump using J-Runner. and found this xbox is Zenon and CB version is 1888.
This means that this old xbox is a Jtag-able xbox. so, I'm going to order switching diodes for JTAG, now.
By the way, when I get diodes and solder them correctly, can I use J-Runner as usual way ? or must I change something in J-Runner usual procedure
to success JTAG?
Namely, keeping Zenon Dash version 6683, can I succeed if I do as follows ?
(1)write ECC
(2)boot xell ⇒ get CPU key and DVDkey
(3)create Xebuild image: with selection as follows
・Jtag
・Dash version 16537 ( newest version which J-Runner support)
(4)Created Xebuild Image write into Zenon Nand
(5)build up Zenon xbox again for DVD update
(6)Jtag boot

Especially I am afraid of above step (3). Is it not necessary to select some medium dash version, eg 7371 version, instead of the newest dash version.

(B)Jasper Dash:7371,MFR Date:2009.9.18
Also I cheked the second old xbox with J-R programmer V2. The result is : Jasper and CB version is 6750.
Acooding to this post http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53528, if 4BL(CD) is 8453, then
this xbox may Jtagable. Is the 4BL(CD) value displyed in J-Runner's right side view ?
There is Nand info in J-Runner right side view, they are 2BL(CB) , 4BL(CD) , 5BL(CE).
J-Runner View for Jasper

This Jasper is JTAGable ?
and I also ask. if My Jasper is JTAGable, then the same question as Zenon, Is it not necessary to select some medium dash version, instead of the newest dash version.

Please guide me.
Thank you.

For JTAGable consoles the menus change across the top of the screen to suit.

That Jasper is not Jtagable as the CB is 6750 which means you would have to use RGH 1 hence the reason it has automatically selected RGH for you rather than JTAG, maybe that console has had a service by Microsoft at some point.

Look at Martin C's roadmap in my sig for confirmation.

BTW the latest dash that should be being used for RGH is 16747, you need to add the latest dash's, but don't do 16756 as this is only for Retail at the moment.

I misunderstood http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53528.
I understood my Jasper is not Jtagable.
I would like to confirm for my Zenon, that I can use 16747 Dash version as newest one in my described procedure (3),
and there is no wrong step in all procedures (0) ~ (6) which I modified excluding that J-Runner menus change across the top of the screen to suit, isn't it ?

(0)create xell-reloaded
(1)write createxell-reloaded
(2)boot xell ⇒ get CPU key and DVDkey
(3)create Xebuild image: with selection as follows
・Jtag
・Dash version 16747( newest version which J-Runner support)
(4)Created Xebuild Image write into Zenon Nand
(5)build up Zenon xbox again for DVD update
(6)Jtag boot

Thank you

Yep process looks good

For the Jasper you can RGH it, that also an easy job to do. Just install a CR, for the rest the J-Runner process is almost the same.

For the Xenon (not Zenon) you can JTAG it.

Nice find by the way, Xenon's with an old dash are rare.

7 of the xenon's in a lot of 10 I just bought were all jtag-able :)

That's a first! (And probably the last, lol)

This is self post.
I succeeded Jtag boot with my Zenon xbox. I exactly did the steps as I confirmed in my previous post from (0) to (6). And I also succeeded R-Jtag boot with my falcon using R-JTAG starter kit and
RGH boot with my Jasper using CoolRunner Rev C.
But I have another falcon problem now. the other posts of my problems are as below.
My Falcon xbox dosen't boot. Is there any possibility to boot ?
I failed the PLL_BYPASS soldering point, is there any alternating point ?

RGH boot of Jasper is a little unstable, so i would like to tune boot time. But as I have only one CoolRunner, so I will engage in another RGH boot problem of Falcon now on.
If you are kind enough to visit above post , please help me and lead me.
Thank you.
