Hello all,

I have a question regarding the qsbs (looked around with no answer...) -

Suppose i didn't order the phat qsbs
can i still use the ones that came with the nand-x?

I know that the phat has it's own qsbs with places for the red and orange cables...

can i solder them with the qsb that came with the nand-x?

If i can, how to do this with the qsb already soldered?

Thanks! :)

I gather you mean the qsb's that come with the nandx, yes you can use them but they only have the connections for ground and vcc (red) but I would use the ground connection to the back of the board. The orange wire still has to be soldered to the pad next to the resistor not to the nandx qsb. Only the new coolrunner qsb has the point for the orange wire.

Thanks,

So where do i solder the coolrunner's red wire instead? (doesn't the qsb connect to the red soldering point?)

Hi frazzeld, i did look at it,

but how can i solder the red wire with the point that the qsb seats on? (solder over the qsb point? or should i remove it after i done with it?).

Thanks.

the red wire is the power supply and there is a power source on the nand x qsb

There is a 3.3v. solder point on the standard QSB
