Yes, I just put hekate_ctcaer_4.2.bin in the root level then ran it from the Options menu. Running my backup right now.Where do we need to put the payload.bin? In ROOT folder? Thanks
Could I backup my NAND using SX OS?Yes that's the right way to do it and what I did. Dump OFW first using Hekate. Don't boot into cfw or OFW on menu just run payload and dump. Save that NAND.
I've restored it to my cfw many times to go to eshop etc. it's the only 100% safe way to switch back and forth between cfw and OFW just a little time consuming
Somebody?Could I backup my NAND using SX OS?
Sorry about the noobie questions, I've just bought my Sx OS Pro so I'm still gathering more information about it.
My initial idea is backup the Nand via SX OS intead of using Hekate. Is there any difference?
Sx os backup is a complete nand backup. You can restore it whenever you want. I'm not sure where the confusion is. If you want to compare nand dumps made by two different softwares.... then use both and compare them.
