Let me lay if out for you, all the following is assuming you have good game dumps, and a good DVD Burner.
Verbatims cost $1.40 a disc(where i live)
Other brands cost about $1 a disc(where i live)
Verbatim burns are 99% successful. Meaning that 99% of the time it only takes 1 disc to get a working backup.
Cost of Verbatim Backup=$1.40
Other brands are hit and miss, in my experience its about a 50% success rate. So it takes an average of 2 burns to make a working backup. Or in a spindle of 10, i only have 5 working backups.
Cost of other brand backup=$2.00+
Buy Verbatims made in Singapore. They are worth the extra price. Cheaper in the long run.
This is of course xbox 360 dependent, meaning some 360s will play all brands, some only play verbatims. But its a good idea to buy the best discs you can buy for the highest success rate.
