Let me start with some backstory info:
When I got this box it had the blades dash so I knew it was exploitable (Falcon box). I did the jtag install and used it for about 3 months when all of a sudden one day I went to turn it on and it had 1 red light (e79). Nothing had changed since the previous day of using it....no updates, no trying to connect to live, no nothing!
I decided to try troubleshooting it so I did the following:
Flashed regular NAND back on the box and removed jtag wires - Boots fine!
Wired jtag and redumped NAND - 3 dumps, no errors!
Flashed xell and tried booting - e79
Flashed xellous and tried booting - e79
Tried flashing freeboot file from the first time I had it running - e79
Flashed back the original NAND - Boots fine!
Now, to try troubleshooting a little more I desoldered the wires I was using (AUD Clamp using boxxdr method I think is his name?) and tried the QSBs that came with my NAND-X and did the same troubleshooting as before with the same results.
Removed the QSBs and went with the old method of diodes and alternate jtag points and still have the exact same results!
I'm freaking pulling my hair out at this point!!!!!!!!!!!
I know my soldering is fine with no burns, no shorts, etc.....I've been doing this for quite a while.
