Getting error "Can not continue:" all the time whatever i do. I check my soldering 10 times(i have to say i'm very good with solder and so on :D ) I check all troubleshooing on the site Here is my readings...

1. 0,010~ (are you sure its ~ and not = ?? ) -possible soudbride cuttrace ??
2. 3,3V
3. 0,012~ (are you sure its ~ and not = ?? )
4. 0v (40 Ohms)
5. 3.0V
6. 0V (5.8 KOhms)

I have done hourdrests of Consoles but this is for some reason very strange and not normal at all. Please help??? I try both Nand-X and also j-runner both are the same error :(

If the console still boots xell, try flashing the image through there instead.

kind of elevates external factors.

Well actual story is that it there was 2 bad blocks on 31E which is pretty much normal and back block should be remapped with j-runner. So what i did was that i created image in j-runner flash it in xell but after that console gets E79. So i want to flash it over flasher and during the writing it was ok for first few blocks, after that just errors. Since then im not able to do anything. It is very strange and not logical. So now cannot even boot coz of first 50 block is not even correctly written :( E79 was there coz of this bad block i guess but my thinking was J-Runner automatically remap them, in this case it did not happened, interesting..

I think readings is wrong coz of SMC is broken in nand. Is there any way to sort it pls ? Also i need to consider that X-nand and J-runner is broken, but both same time?

We need images of your soldering please.

From your values I'd say the southbridge is not starting correctly.

Does the console still boot?
Any idea please ? Images also there see this readins are ~ or = ? Coz there is a different in yr manual it is not specific about it

1. If you've done hundreds of consoles, getting out of the habit of writing the image in XeLL is a really good idea. You have a hardware flasher with a proven record of reading and writing correctly, yet you try and risk writing via XeLL. Makes no sense whatsoever.

2. I too think you've corrupted the SMC (FWIW).

3. I didn't see an image of your eFuse protection on the underside of the board?

also, if you've done hundreds of consoles, have you repaid the developers of JRunner for their time/effort?

I think you right with xell but writing nand over xell is really fast and easy :)

Is there anything i can do to fix SMC ? What exactly do you want me to take a picture from ? Top of the nand or under it ?

Thank you for help

I don't see any efuse protection implemented. It's a moot point but worrying nontheless, especially someone who's churning out consoles and could be protecting their customer's RGH/JTAG machines from unnecessary problems.

So the console doesn't boot and you're not getting any voltage on points 1 and 3.

Can you post a closer image of STBY_CLK as well as report the rating of the resistor next to it?

Well it looks ok from here.

You say you've tried the bad flash recovery? Try this just in case.

1. Remove the PSU plug for 30 secs.
2. Short the sides of the resistors in the image.
3. Hold the short in place while connecting the PSU.
4. Keep it there for 10 secs more.
5. Remove the short and check the voltage on point 1 again.

ok i checked it again. If u put red cable from mutlimeter to point 1 and blakc to GND i'm getting 0,25 V but if i connect black to point 1 and red to GND i'm getting 1,03V. Very strange. are you sure i should measure for ~? might my multimeter is broken as well but not very likely. I guess gonna get another nand and change it :( blah. Thank you for help very interesting experience.

Done all my consoles using Xell to write my image. No issues so far ;)
