Can not read nand after NAND-X qsb install "wrong version"

Description of problem:
I attempted to install RJTAG chip once before and it didn't boot. Keep in mind that I entered 16567 as the dash on first attempt.. So I wrote the original nand back to the console and it booted up.. I checked the dash and the dash is 2.0.16767.

On this 2nd attempt I decided to install the NAND-X qsbs. So I installed them and went to read the nand and I get the wrong version error. Do you think it could have been that I wrote the nand back with 16567 dash? I have tried to improve my soldering I don't know what the problem is here.
Was the console working before you started: Y.

Simple fix, unplug the nand-x and plug it back in

fizzing sound, and smoke came from JTAG V2 chip underside. I have more, but I have decided to just leave this console in "Running" state, and extract a dvd key from another console-8992 dash-----------Unless I should continue to try to RJTAG with a burnt chip? or resistor... don't really know.... I booted the console for a test run after nandx qsb install--I had console sitting on the chassis maybe it shorted something. any suggestions appreciated
