Can phat drive be locked as a slim?

Just a quick question. I was wondering if the latest dash update can make your xbox360 phat locked like it does to slim? thanks in advance.

Not that i know of. The update does change the model number of the drive though, so you will need the newest LT+ firmwares for those models.

Yes you can lock your spi. It wouldn't be smart to do so, though. It would be both detectable and would kill the lite-on eraseability of that drive (until you Mra the drive that is)

Microsoft doesn't lock it. You would have to in JF. Best way to avoid problems? Flash to stock for updates.
