I'm having a terrible time trying to solder the QSBs to the mobo. I've looked around but couldn't find any real clear explanation of whether I can use the included NAND-X wires to JTAG by cutting off the connectors and soldering directly to the mobo points. Is this possible, and is there a decent diagram of how to do this? Many thanks in advance!

im assuming he means the jtag because of the coloured wires he refers to. blue/yellow are the xenon jtag wires and red yellow are for non-xenons. if youre going to direct wire then you wont need the blue yellow. use the red/yellow wires as these have the diodes inside them. tell me what board you have and ill tell you how to direct wire it.

ok the 2 longer wires in this pic are the red and yellow ones included in the nand-x kit. make sure the diode end of these wires goes to j1f1 and use a normal piece of wire for the jumper on j2d2.
