I'm not exactly "new" to the scene or oblivious to RGH. I've been on the scene since the Xbox 1 days.

Right i have a Jasper Elite, that recently was updated with the dash before the latest one. I think (14717?) was the one before that?

A friend of mine is going to RGH it for me. But as I've seen and heard the CB was patched for Phats and Slims that terminated the RGH on those consoles (For now)

I then seen the Xecuter Demon post along with RGH 2.0..

Now my friend claims that it can still be done. But after seeing the post with the funny picture (We haz all the Phats, lol made me giggle) I'm not so sure he knows what he's talking about at this moment in time.

So my question is, will i be able to get this RGH applied? or will i need to wait for the Xecuter Demon?

Your friend is incorrect

If it has been updated to 14717 and never been dumped/glitched before (i.e. you dont have the CPU Key) then it cannot be glitched until RGH2.0 is released (wont be long now)
That's great, thanks for clearing this up :)

Just one more thing that i should have asked before. Will i need to purchase the DemoN or can i just order myself up a coolrunner and be good to go when 2.0 emerges?

That depends on whether or not you will be utilising Dual Nand.

The DemoN is a dual NAND solution (for stock/hacked NAND), the CoolRunner will enable you to glitch your console and overwrite the console's NAND flash instead (hacked only, no Live).

I have a retail Slim that i use for XBL, so not really that much interested in a stock and hacked NAND, Besides i want to be able to run the Dev kernel. I suppose you can still switch between them.

Though this will be purely a backup unsigned console so i can utilize the SDK and develop some homebrew. So i'm guessing the TX CoolRunner is all fine and dandy for this purpose.

Thanks Blakey :)
