Can someone explain Dual Nand to me?

I want to dual nand my Jasper, can you explain the PROs and CONs?

PROs:
-you will have both freeboot and retail on your Xbox
-you can go live with retail nand and play backups on freeboot on the same console

CONs:
-it's more expensive and harder to install than regular RGH
-you still need to flash your DVD (or use ODE) to play backups in Live

An addition to the cons would be that you still need a glitch chip for the RGH side.
