I installed a new X2.6 chip in my buddie's v1.0 xbox. I used the wire harness method and all my solder points are good. I hooked everything back up and when I turn the xbox on with chip enabled, flash protect off, and bank 1, the xbox light turns green for a second, then turns off, then turns green for a second, then turns off, and finally turns back on and flashes green/red and there's no display on the TV. I can also eject the DVD drive but still no screen. I think maybe it's because his xbox has been unplugged for a while and I have to reset the clock with the retail HDD installed, then put the new HDD in because I had this problem before. Shouldn't I still get a picture on the TV though????????? When I turn on the xbox with the chip disabled it boots up fine. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME OUT HERE CAUSE I'VE TRIED MANY FORUMS AND NO ONE CAN SEEM TO HELP ME??????????????????

It is more than likely a problem with your install. Check your solder points again. If they all look good, check the connection between the wires and switch board. If that is ok, check the switches. Remove the tape and look for broken traces.
