Can Someone Plesae Stop Me Making Coasters!!!

Hi all,

Got a bit of a snag backing up from my box to my pc and then burning. Here is what i do.

1. Connect xbox using crossover cable.
2. Open Flash FXP - in left pane i have where to transfer to on PC
- in right pane i connect to xbox.
3. Transfer all files on disk to local folder on PC.
4. Create ISO using QWIX (and following tutorial)
5. Burn using Nero (following same tutorial as above from home page).

That is it, i then try and play the game and it doesnt work. I have tried both + and - disks and i am burning using a LITE-ON DVDRW SOHW-812S at 4 speed. Can someone please help.

I use Ctraxtion and I also have .NET framework I know .net framework gets used in the process because it always proclaims some text error ( in the craxtion screen) when copying discs I own. The discs I make work ion X3 chips and S.P.Ice chips but for some unknown reason do not work for my mates soft mod (exploit unknown, as he stole it!!) Just adding my 2 cents.:)

make sure ur bios is set to load default.xbe from d:/ drive. it could also be the brand ur usin. try gettin ridata that works for me all the time (2 coaters in a pck of 50 :p)

What brand DVD media are you using? As the LiteOn DVD burners a very particular to what brands are used in them. I have a SOHW-812S and LDW-851S and use SONY 4x and Princo 4x (CompUSA Brand) with no burning issues. I’ve found some version of the Memorex brand will make very nice party coasters.:D

ok - maybe it's the fact that you're selecting the wrong subfolder when creating the ISO, or there's a problem with this stage.

To eliminate, try my boot disk:

http://www.xbox-guru.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/files/unleashbootcd.rar

extract with WinRAR and burn the ISO in the usual manner.

Many thanks to all who have replied..... Ive been working away but now have a few weeks to sort this nightmare..... i'll let you know of any snags...!

Also, try this:
put the disc in, turn xbox off. Then turn your xbox on with the disc still inside.

Whenever I put in a backup disc when at the msdash, it will always come up dirty or damaged disc. I have to either do what I just said or launch it from evo-x/unleashx/xbmc.
