ANSWERED Can someone update me on the AP25 Ban wave

They figured me out, i didnt flash back to stock during the last xbox update. I finally got around to reflashing to ixtreme 1.91 BENQ, popped in black ops and got a black screen and appearently because i waited for the disc is not readable message i got flagged and banned. Im guessing because my black ops wasn't ap25 fixed? The game is older probably before AGBX fixed ap25.

So i bought a used xbox, is ixtreme 1.91 safe?

Also whats the deal with SSV2 manual patching on agbx has this been fixed a long time ago or do we still have to manual patch?

1.91 is safe, however any ap2.5 backups need to be checked in abgx to ensure they have been patched with the latest data because unlike lt+ etc that protected u from being flagged if they werent 1.91 no longer has firmguard or whatever its called so if you put in an incorrecty patched ap2.5 game it no longer protects against the flag hence what happened in your case.

you dont need to manual patch anything on abgx currently just select autofix and level 3 and it will sort all the ssv stuff and the ap2.5 for u

You might want to check and see If your Xbox has been unbanned, there was a big announcement by M$ saying they lifted the bans on some consoles and from the reports I've seen it's ppl that failed ap2.5.

Alright, thanks guys...lol ill check it but i doubt it. Somwehere along the lines i did something wrong though to get banned, than when the m hammer came down....I did have ixtreme 1.91 though so i dunno.

Wow im so excited.....i wasn't expected anything at all...but the xbox signed in and everything . I guess i now have a legit xbox and a modded one, very cool. And i think 3 free months of live too. I guess all the swearing about m$ was pointless, haha.
