can the x3lcd be flipped over?

pretty simple question.. the location where i'm installing my lcd is going to make plugging the cable in quite the pain. there anyway the thing can be flipped over (putting the plug on the other side) and adjust some settings so that it would read correctly.. you know, not upsidedown?

Good idea, but wouldn't work. The interface of the LCD is character based, there is no way to tell the display to display the given characters "upsidedown". If it was matrix based ("graphical"), it might have been an option.

ehh... figured it was worth a shot. it's ok though.. i got it to work as is with a little minor trimming
