If u'r lucky the screw holes should line up with the heatsink screws. I can't remember the Xbox dimensions off top of my head.

i think the 775 screw holes are slightly farther apart than the 360 but i may be wrong
I have just got an idea .

What if i somehow mix the existing GPU RAD with the cooler master rad using a connection with the same metal ( aluminium if am not wrong) .

This connection will stick to the the standard rad and provide a flat surface for the cooler master copper thermal paste pad .

And for the mounting i will just connect the big cooler to the stock one by exploiting the space between the rad blades .

But with all that , would i expect a very huge drop in GPU temps ?, btw currently i got a GPU temp of 62 C ( in game/on dash/no rgh) .

something kind of like this http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2007/05/closing1_engadget_howto.jpg

really if you want to go the pc cooler route get yourself a drill and a tap kit (something along the lines of this http://www.zoro.com/g/00054901/k-G1...rG0Q7ZFqxMNIsk58o-ltHYYUwOYmh8DRBrRoC35Tw_wcB)

then you can use basically any heatsink thats bigger than the holes on the 360 and drill your own
That seems good but its hard to do , i don't have a welder to perform that sadly .

AS for the mounting , am not actually planning to use the xbox holes , the original rad will stay in place , and the pc cooler will be connected to it and screwed on it .

But i need some sort of connection .

Just like this ( with the transfer helper connection yet to be placed in between ) :

I have followed a new approach , the fan was giving too much vibration so i only installed the heat sink on top of the original radiator , now having a constant 38 C .

Too bad , when i get the fan close to its rad , i get 33 C .

Do you think installing a lighter fan will do the job ?

If you are trying to cool your jtag/rgh there are some good pc heatsinks that will work perfect if you remove the dvd drive and don't mind modding the case.

A 80mm X 80mm X 15mm Delta fan fits perfect under the heatsinks & blows out the top of a custom case. I run 2 of these fans & it's quieter than the stock fans with edited smc temps. No 12v mod or it would sound like a jet @ 48.8cfm & 41db each.

Not bad temps for a xenon, wish I would have had enough ShinEtsu X23 to put on the CPU but I only had enough of it to cover the GPU till I restock.

U.K.
Just use a cpu heatsink on the gpu, I have socket 478 heatsinks on my rgh falcon, drilled an tapped and ground spacers. I'll try an get some pics up later.

I know this takes the fun out of what you're doing, but why not just pick up a cheap slim/jasper? They run cooler and by the time you buy all the parts for what you're doing would prob cost you about the same and save you time.

Well in my case the Xboxes were free. And had heatsinks off old scrap pc's. The falcon never get past 45 degrees even when room is hot and its at on a crt tv.

But were the fun in just buying stuff???? That's why were all into the modding thing isn't it?

How many volts are you pulling from the original fan plug? Does anyone have a link to where theres some pictures of where i can pull 12v from on the motherboard or a Jasper and where i can pull 12v and 5v on a Corona>>

Most of the time i see people pull from the dvd drive, i dont mind doing it but i would rather pull from the mobo as splicing dvd power cables look tacky lol

Disregard that found a post, but what does it mean when it says standby power, and power enable, if i run 12v power and ground it will only be active when the system is powered on correct.

A 20 degree difference using ShinEtsu X23 on your gpu? What did you use on your CPU?

Hi again everyone .

I have managed to get the jasper GPU in constant 37 C ( taking measurement from the original radiator ) without fan , only with extra radiator parts including the radiator that i first mentioned .

Is this temp good for avoiding a new rrod , because this jasper is already reflowed ???
