I got this on ebay as a red dot not working for parts. I was going to change the paste and reset it but it doesn't boot. Then I noticed that the R3B15 was gone and the resistor. Its a slim trinity 2010 model. When I start it it gives you a red dot an sometimes the green light circles the red dot. The fan doesn't turn on. Iv seen many ways on fixing the pad but the the resistor . Is there a way to fix it . I was thinking about adding a resistor from and old phat xbox from the same place. Then use that tut to connect the resistor to the trace . Will that work or do I need to fix it another way. If it cant be fixed then I rather just sell the dvd and side panel vents to make my money back.
can this rgh be saved as a retail.

Thank you it did get it to power on with the fan. Now it blinks green twice then goes red dot. It does have new paste and is the original nand. I get error code 0021.
