I have been reading and reading and reading.... I have a X3 on a 1.6... I have the tipical green green green red flashing light problem. I bought it already done on gameshopusa. They said I had a flash problem. Can you flash your bios wrong so it can never work again?? I cant seem to get it to work. I flash it in the back up screen, the bar loads and then it goes back to green green red when I try and start it. I give up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

did the same thing - managed to reflash by starting the xbox with the power and eject button to enter what I think is a backup bios and flash with the x3 1959 v16 plus bios as per the tutorial on this site. worked for me....

This is right ....

1> Boot to the backup BIOS
2> Put the switches in the on,on,off, off position.
3> Make sure you have the 1959_1.6PLUS BIOS .BIN file - exactly 1024kb
4> FLASH that sucka!
5> Leave the switches alone and power up the Xbox (It should turn off after the flash)

That should do it.

Hi Guys, I'm kind of new to this and I did the exact same thing. I then tried to go back to where I got the X3 bios 1959 but I can't seem to find anything but that. I followed the tutorial and it seems like the only file they have there in regards to v16 is bios 1957 v16 test. Can someone please point me in a different direction?

Thanks
