Setup:

xbox 1.6/b, extender with an extra 120gb drive (F)
x3 chip installed by modchipman.com
flashed x3 bios (started with 3294, then downgraded when having this problem to an older version).

Basically I've found a back door into my xbox. when it loads, i cannot get it to the X3CL screen. the white button does not access it.

with the autoinstaller disc, i am able to boot load the cd after the flubber / rox my box logos appear and from there i can boot into XMBC by the "loading dashbaords" option. from here I can access XMBC with no problem. programs work, emulators work, dvd player works. once i finish a program though (mostly emulators) i have to restart since i cannot boot back into XMBC.

it's not like I can't go on like this. i just know there is an easier way to make xbmc boot up automatically. any suggestions?

I have not had an opportunity to change my password, sadly. I have yet to see any aspect of the config live bios.

nothing has been changed in that regards.

I have never made it into the X3 bios. No password has ever been set.

My xbox can function 95% like a normally modded xbox. I just cannot get into X3CL (by using the white button at startup) to control what dash to load first).

If I use the AutoInstaller Deluxe boot cd, I can load my XBMC dash and I"m set. the roms work, the programs work. the IGR works so it's 100% functional after I do this. I just dont want to have to use this method all the time.

once again, here are my stats on the xbox:

xbox: 1.6
chip: x3
bios: currently 1892 beta, but I've loaded the newest one two and a few older ones as well (keep reflashing the main banks) since everyone suggests that)

It is currently equipped with the Xtender Hydra 2, with a WD 120GB HD acting as the F drive.

I just cannot get into X3CL for the life of me.

I have set XMBC as the default bios in my evox.ini on the F drive, but even when I'm booting on the F drive with the xtender (the middle button for those familiar with the Hydra), I keep hanging at the ROX MY BOX screen when there is no AID disc in the drive at startup.

I'm just so lost here.
