Cannot copy files to hard drive

Please help. Have installed an X3 in a v1.0 Xbox. I flashed the BIOS correctly and it boots to the new BIOS. I can install a new hard drive (Maxtor 120gb). However, when I try to FTP to the drive my FTP program can see the logical drives but cannot copy any files to the drive. It says the files already exist on the destination. When I click on overwrite it gives and access denied error. The Xbox drive is unlocked. I put the old xbox drive in and unlocked it and it says the same thing (at least I can see the files).

what ftp program are you using? I suggest trying out Flash FXP, and if that doesn't work, come back here.

Yes, use FlashFxp. I've used that since day one and have had zero problems with it. I have tried cute ftp and it always gave me problems.
