Hey Guys,

Got myself a Xenon motherboard and the TX NAND-X PRO kit.

Everything soldered perfectly. Checked multimeter - everything good.

Only problem is when I come to take the 1st NAND dump, it cannot see any flash controller devices.

Any ideas or has anyone experienced this before? I have soldered / desoldered over and over again, Pins, direct wires, same effect - no flash device! I'm starting to doubt the NAND-X controller unit???

(Dash 7371)

Thanks!

have you installed the drivers for the nand-x ? also ensure you have the mobo plugged into the power plug (not switched on - just plugged into the power)

always check your connections too

sometimes my NAND-X plug (the socket from the wires to the NAND-X) is a little loose

often i have to have it at just the right angle to get it to read

comes from lots of use is my guess ;)

hope you get it figured out

Nope - still no joy even after doing another rewire.

Anyone willing to test my Nand-X reader - will ship in the post (UK) - stay in Scotland though (Ayrshire) so if anyone is local???

Cheers

before you ship it off, uninstall and reinstall your drivers for it

like BH said, drivers are important :)

you do have the power brick plugged into the mobo don't you? it need to have power going to the board! (don't switch the board on though) ?
