Cannot dump nand

I've tryed multiple times and different settings but i keep getting the same answer. I type in nandpro usb: -r16 orig.bin for the flash (http://www.team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55024) but it constantly says (In cmd)

"Looking for usb interface device
Flash config: 0x01198010
Block size: 16KB Block limits 0x000000..0x0003ff
File: orig.bin
Reading
Couldn't open orig.bin for writing"

you might need to run 'cmd' as administrator.

What version of nandpro are you using?
I've had trouble like this with some versions after 2.0b.

Assuming you have write permissions in the working folder then I'd try and create an empty orig.bin first and try again. If that fails, try nandpro 2.0b

You could always try using one of the desktop programs like coolshripms jtag tool, its a lot easyer to use than doing it all in cmd. it breaks it down step by step for you.

easy solution to your problem. im guessing your using windows 7. the first step is to see if the nandx is being recognized. download coolshrimps jtag tools. google is your friend you will find it easy. next launch jtag tools and press the advance moded tab. you will see a bunch of tabs. go all the way to the right that says "settings". then go and press install nand x driver. after than theres also a tab that says show device manager. in device manager you should see the libusb. and inside that should say "memory access" if there is no exclamation mark then it is recognizing your nandx. if all else fails and you keep getting the yellow exclamation mark. then go ahead and press install port 95. then download nandpro30 and install it in the root of your c:\
