Cannot flash X3... Flash Unknown

Hi,

I have a X3 chip and it worked perfectly for a couple of days... And the nightmare began... For an unknown reason it stopped working... So I opened my Xbox to see what the problem was. The 3.3V led was off, so I rocked the chip on the pin header a little just to see if it was a loose connection on the header... And the 3.3V led came on, but now, if I boot normally, the front panel led stays red. I think that I corrupted my bios...

I thought that I'd boot from the backup bios to reflash my chip but now all I got is that it's an unknown flash and I tried anything to recover it, but with no success.

Is there any way to force Flashbios to flash it even though it doesn't recognize the bios a an Xecuter3? Or is there anything else I can try? The only thing that I haven't tried from reading the forums is a hotswap from another working X3 Xbox. I'm about to do that but I wanted to know if there is another way before I try...

Thanks!

If you try and start the box with the chip enabled, is the 'X' red ?

If so then you have another soldering contact problem - probably the d0 connection, maybe the front panel adaptor pcb.

Yes the X is red, but if I take another chip from another Xbox that is working, then everything fine... I really think that I corrupted my chip from rocking it on the header... So my question is : Is there any way from flashbios to flash it without making it recognize the flash chip?
