Right, I'm glad it still works. Get your hdd upgraded, then copy Halo2 to it, then swap the corresponding maps with your new modded maps. If I helped, please add to my rep.

Because you don't have the X3 chip, I recommend taking it to a modding shop, hdd upgrades can be complicated and risky according to some of the tutorials I read, unless you know how to do it.
Maybe PM moho008? I think he lives in Texas, he might be able to do it for you. Or you could back up all your files, xboxdash.xbe, audio folder, everything to your pc, then risk doing it yourself, if it doesn't work, you can get a replacement standard XBOX hdd from ebay cheap.
Or you should be able to get a pre-formatted and unlocked 120gb hdd from ebay, just search for xbox hard disc 120bg or something like that. Then just swap hdd's with the IDE cable. Easy.

I can do, It's a choice between Sub-Zero, Smoke/Noob, and Reptile. I haven't done a design for a Sub-Zero one yet, but because of his popularity, I think I will choose to do one based on him.
If your hdd is pre-formatted and unlocked, then yes to your question. Otherwise you will need to format it and unlock it before you can use it in your XBOX. Check xbox-scene.com if you're thinking of doing it yourself.
Well then I suggest you upgrade to the X3, it's easy with the X3, just select format new hard drive.
