I have xbox v1.4 and a X3CE chip installed. My solder points are good and i have the bank set to on on off off off. Flash protection is disabled on my chip. I have tried both the new bios and x3 2914 needless to say i cannot get them onto my chip. I have created an ISO using QWIX with the bios renamed to "bios.bin" and the dummy file. I then use dvd decrypter to make the dvd to flash with. I have also tried setting the flash protection on the switch to the protected status to make sure its not just backwards or wrong cuz i have read about that online. Can somone please show me the error of my ways here and help me get my moded xbox up and running. Note i do not have nero burning rom 6 so if i need that does anyone know where i can obtain it if i need it. I do have NERO express but it says i have to use a blank cd-r which i dont have. do i have to use nero to get this to work?
