Noob issue probably, but i'm trying to flash Hitachi v78.

I get a "cannot read" error when i try to read the original firmware. SLAX succesfully put the drive in B-mode. I'm using an ASUS P5W-DH. I've tried the Jmicron SATA and the SIL4724. No luck in flashing so far. I've got another system with a Asus P4P800? But not at hand right now. Please advice?

I used a P4P800 motherboard along with a PCI Via 6421 chipset for the hookup to the 360 and Slax worked easier then trying to flash an MS28.
