well my xbox was working good until i messed with video setting in avalaunch dash screen was scrolling fast so i was trying to click on stuff hopefully i would undo what i just had done but no i clicked on something made xbox turn off and now boots but no vid so i tried reflashing that dont help so i switched banks and loaded m8bios that boots up just fine but 1959 will not boot with vid anymore could i have fried out some of my banks can i do anything to fix it tried reflashing 1959 to banks 1-4 few times but it still wont work i know i should of not of messed with it hehe but do i need to buy a new chip will that fix it mabe ?? or can you reflash x3 chip to like when i bought it?

make sure you flash with the bios made for your Xbox version.
check if eject+power button gets you into the backup bios.

yes i can get into the back up bios sometimes when the banks are selected 1-4 and also when i push power button quick tap it still wants to boot from msdash red x but that never worked on my box so it shuts down and boots with chip enabled blue x but if i select banks on off off on thats where i put my m8 bios and when i boot to 256 backup purple x with those banks selected it boots to backup bios just fine but any other banks selected seems not always wanting to boot to backup
o yes and i have xbox version 1.6 1959 worked well on it until i clicked something i wasnt sapose to

hmm, you could prolly try to flash it on bank 5678, but then you most likely overwrite your m8 bios.

yea ill try flashing on 5678 and if that dont work gonna order a new mod chip lol thx for the help will post back when i get it figured out
Computer recognizes Drive but JF doesnt
This is my first attempt of flashing with a laptop. My comp sees the drive connected but JF wont see it. Its a BENQ drive. Any thoughts?

i figuered it out windows was trying to install a driver that I already installed so it was conflicting all is good now thanks
