cant boot into dos with usb drive

Sorry guys I need help again, I have been following the videos and the textbook, and they are great. The problem is that I have the USB drive loaded with the hacked firmware, but I can not get my computer to read it and start in dos. I tried to switch the boot devices, but I don’t have an option for of USB. The options that I do have are:
1.floopy
2. LS120
3. HDD-0
4. SCSI
5. CDROM
6. HDD-1
7. HDD-2
8. HDD-3
9. ZIP100
10. LAN

I have tried all of them and I don’t know what else to do so if someone could help me out

try to ntfs4dos cd found in textbook's tutorial.. download and instructions to use are also in the tut.
