Hey everyone, I have a problem that wants to be solved.

I currently just fixed my switch battery issue after a few months of can't switch on it and now I want to boot into the sx os but failed.

Booting into the OFW is completely fine, but when I want to boot into sx os it shows NOTHING, not even the sxos screen!

However, there is ONE time it shows the BOOT.DAT? screen which I think it means the switch can actually sense somthing, ( but I actually have the boot.dat in my sd card!) other than that the other trials it shows no reaction.

My switch is running 9.0.1 and I failed with sx os 2.9.1 and 2.9.2 (Which it works before my switch is broken with battery)

My sd card is exFAT format (Which also works before)

Hope some body can help me pls!

"Boot.Dat ?" error means the file was not found. In your case the SD card was not found. Seems to be the reason also for black screen. Your SD is not being read cleanly. You fixed battery then you have taken Switch apart right? The SD reader may not be seated properly on the board. Reseat the reader and make sure to put the black foam piece back on the connecter as it helps the connection stay tight. If that not the case then format SD to fat32 and recopy files and try. Exfat works for me also but some have issues.

Thanks for replying me! I solved the problem by formatting it into FAT32. It works!!!!! However, when I copy back the xcis to the sd card, some large size game like zelda, it says the file size exceed the maximum allowed size. So I am wondering how can I put those large size game into the FAT32 SD card

Use XCI Cutter to trim the xci file into <4GB parts.
